The District 16 Speakers Bureau was established as a voluntary organization to serve businesses, civic organizations, churches and the educational community. The Bureau is comprised of several multi-talented Toastmasters who have attained advanced levels of speaking and leadership skills.
Their primary focus is to present a variety of interesting, fun and educational presentations that can be tailored to the needs of your audience and vary from approximately 20-40 minutes.
Types of speeches? Motivational, inspirational, humorous, historical, technical. Speeches that address concerns of the elderly, stress, change, financial strategies, storytelling, etc. Also available are several experienced “Meeting Facilitators” “Emcees” or “Keynote Speakers” for your next business or dinner meeting.

Linda Allen
From the classroom and workplace to international travel, Linda Allen weaves her Toastmaster skills and life experiences into her programs. Barbara Bradshaw Atherton, a humorous motivational speaker for over thirty years, is a dedicated Silver recipient in Toastmasters and a Dale Carnegie graduate. Royice Everett
Dr. Everett is a pioneer in laser surgery and holder of nine medical laser related patents. He is an author of over 35 journal articles and speaker at national and international meetings. Dr. Everett will travel within Oklahoma City metro area, as far North as Guthrie, as far East as Shawnee, as far South as Norman and West as El Reno. T. A. Jones
T. A. Jones A native of Henryetta, Oklahoma, T.A. was one of nine Jones kids. He started his leadership calling by working a variety of jobs, including the military service before the age of 20. His lifelong work in public service provides humorous insight to leadership. His seven sisters provide insight to life itself. Along the way, T.A. found Toastmasters and quickly worked his way up the ranks, currently serving as District 16 Division U Governor. Having recently been awarded the education rank of Distinguished Toastmaster, T.A. would like to share his experiences and observations with audiences throughout Oklahoma.

Paula Liotine
Paula Liotine is the Process Improvement Project Leader at American Fidelity Assurance Company (AFA). Paula is a certified Lean Facilitator, Lean Manager and a Six Sigma black belt. Paula began her process improvement journey with AFA in 2007. To date, Paula and her team have successfully facilitated 157 Lean Kaizen events and several Six Sigma projects. Paula has been instrumental in bringing the Lean process improvement methodology to four of AFAs affiliate companies and has facilitated Kaizen events in manufacturing and nonprofit settings. Paula is also skilled at facilitating strategic planning meetings, task teams, and executive teams. Paula is a Distinguished Toastmaster and has delivered speeches and presentations on Process Improvement and Facilitation to a variety of organizations in the Oklahoma City area. Julie Peter
Julie Peter–A former Toastmasters International District 16 Governor, Julie is an accomplished speaker and an outstanding leader. She and her husband, Steve, have co-authored a book on leadership in the volunteer organization. Together they are entertaining, amusing, and bring a touch of class to their presentations.

Steve Peter–Dedicated Toastmaster and former District 16 Governor, Steve, along with his wife, Julie, have co-authored a book on leadership in the volunteer organization. Together they bring down the house with their unique and educational presentations appealing particularly to community organizations and senior citizen groups. Steve, has a BA Degree in History, is also a Presidential History buff and enjoys entertaining audiences with stories about many of our U.S. Presidents

- Parade of Presidents – A 20 to 30 minute informative and entertaining look at several 20th. Century Presidents featuring original period newspapers dealing with events in the lives of these often colorful historical characters and the people around the. Michael Phillips
Michael Phillips is a life long Tulsan and a retired high school math teacher. He is a Tulsa Central High School and Oklahoma University Alumnus and a four year Navy veteran. He has been a Toastmaster for several years and has competed at the district level a number of times finishing first on two occasions. Michael would travel within a 50 mile radius of Tulsa.
- Flying on faith -I have complete confidence in commercial aviation in this country. That confidence disappears the moment I step on a plane. This presentation is probably the funniest I have.
- How bad is your cancer? -There was once a time when I felt people with cancer were somehow different from me. I felt sympathy for those people and I was fearful for them, but I never expected to become one of them. For some reason I believed I was immune from cancer even though there is nothing in my family medical history that would suggest such immunity really existed. It had never occurred to me that most everyone who has ever had cancer once felt that he/she was perfectly healthy, prior to the moment when he/she was face to face with a doctor who said those life changing words “You have cancer”. At that moment everything changes and that person becomes one of “Them”.

Linda Pope
Linda Pope is a motivational speaker with a passion for helping people transform their lives. Linda was the 2012 winner of the District 16 Humorous Speech contest and loves to make people laugh. She is the fifteenth woman to be ordained in the United Methodist Church in Oklahoma and is currently serving two churches near Enid. Before becoming a pastor, Linda had her own business, Docutech , from which she wrote computer manuals for many Tulsa businesses. She is a member of Leadership Oklahoma, a graduate of Oklahoma State University (Family Relations and Child Development), and graduated magna cum laude from Phillips Theological Seminary where she completed an Masters of Divinity. Linda grew up in Stonewall, Oklahoma, and graduated from the same high school as her mother and grandmother. She is a life-long learner willing to share wisdom from the journey. She is currently working on a degree in web design and produces power point presentations for clients around the world. Linda is willing to travel within a 75 mile radius of Enid., OK.

Ernest Raynor
Dr. Ernie Raynor taught college English for 12 years before launching Dr. Raynor’s Seminars, LLC, an educational service. His background in education includes duties as a military instructor and a developmental writing tutor, and his doctoral research focused on gerontology learning issues, educational methods, and demographics.
Ernie has published numerous short stories, poems, articles, and cartoons in venues ranging from college anthologies to international magazines. Ernie will speak within a 30 mile radius of Tulsa.

Charles Redmon
Charles Redmon is a motivational speaker, writer, and storyteller. He has worked in retail, service, and laboratory environments. Wiline Stevenson is a native Oklahoman and a graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle where she majored in Political Science and Black Studies. James Wall
James Wall is a US Army veteran and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Axon Training Solutions International which was born out of his passion and love for helping others BE, KNOW and DO their heart’s desire and living life to its fullest! Recognized as a Certified Professional Contracts Manager and Certified Purchasing Manager, he is a retired officer from the U.S. Air Force where he focused on systems acquisition management.
